This is just an amazing story, there’s action, drama, comedy, and a Lil romance. It’s not as entertaining as other shows, and it’s very adult, especially compared to Buffy which is often considered to be Angel’s older sister. But it’s a definite must-watch. You won’t regret it.

11. Being Human

Being human, a British supernatural comedy-drama television series produced and written by Toby Whithouse for BBC Three, is number nine on the list of good tv shows like vampire diaries. The show premiered on February 18, 2008, and ran for five seasons and 37 episodes.

The premise of the Being Human series follows a group of vampires and werewolves who decide to turn a new leaf by moving into a house together, only to discover that the new residence is haunted by the spirits of people who died in inexplicable ways.

Every day is a new adventure for them as they discover that living together wasn’t such a smart idea. I appreciate how the show reflects real-life difficulties with addiction, not fitting in, humanity,, and making good and terrible decisions. Overall, Being Human is a fantastic concept and story.
