He put his skills to good use by forming a private firm that uses applied psychology to assist local and state law enforcement organizations in solving crimes and uncovering the truth. Dr. Gillian Foster, a lovely colleague who studies voice, language, and behavior patterns, has been added to the mix.
Cal Lightman’s father-daughter bond with his adolescent daughter Emily Lightman, in my opinion, makes the plot even more charming. If you enjoyed the television series Bones, you will undoubtedly enjoy this 48-episode television series.
3. True Detective
Nic Pizzolatto developed and wrote True Detective, an American anthology criminal drama television series. The series started on January 12, 2014, on the premium cable network HBO in the United States, and ran for three seasons and 24 episodes until February 24, 2019.
The plot revolves around police officers and detectives across the United States who, while investigating deaths, are forced to confront dark secrets about themselves and those around them. The series is designed as a self-contained narrative, with fresh cast ensembles and different sets of characters and places in each season.
True Detective is a show that, like Bones, captures your attention and draws you in with each episode. Nic Pizzolatto’s unique and talented combination of performers and chemistry is unrivaled in the industry. Season 3 continues to define True Detective quality taste and features some of the best acting.

The primary characters are all fantastic. Stana Katic did a fantastic job in her role. No one has ever done a better job than Nathan Fillion in bringing the character of Richard Castle to life. Expect to feel the same vibes from watching the “castle” television series as you would from watching the “bones” television series.

The mentalist plot follows “Patrick Jane,” a consultant who uses his psychic powers to assist the CBI in solving cases. Following the murders of his wife and children by a serial killer (Red John), he embarks on a mission to track him down, enlisting the assistance of the CBI.
Jane tries everything she can to figure out who the killer is, but the killer always appears to be one step ahead of her. Jane has a mental image of him going against the law to find his daughter’s killer, but she is continually skeptical of his capacity to do so.
The seven-season series, like bones, is jam-packed with masterfully written moments that showcase the protagonist’s mental talents, frequently leading people to believe that he possesses psychic ability when, in fact, he simply pays extra attention to details.

Matt Bomer played as Neal Caffrey, a highly brilliant and multitalented charming con artist who was finally caught by his enemy, FBI agent Peter, in the show written by Jeff Eastin. In exchange for his release, he partners up with Peter to help the Feds apprehend other elusive criminals.
It has a compelling tale and plot. From the first episode to the last, from the plot of each episode to the overall plot of the season, this show will have you engaged and intrigued. Everything about this film is fantastic: the cast, the acting, the characters, the character development, the lines, the details.

From July 7, 2006, through March 26, 2014, Psych was an eight-season American detective comedy-drama television series developed by Steve Franks that aired over 120 episodes on the USA Network with syndicated repeats on ION Television.
